How-to Use Project OKRs

Updated today

1. Create Objectives

  • Define clear, strategic objectives for your project.

  • Example: “Migrate Core Banking System to the Cloud.”

2. Add Key Results

  • Break down each objective into measurable key results.

  • Example: “Conduct feasibility study,” “Select cloud provider,” “Complete pilot migration.”

3. Track Progress

  • Update the status and completion percentage for each key result.

  • Use status tags such as Not Started, In Progress, or Completed for clarity.

4. Link to Task Groups

  • Connect key results to relevant task groups (e.g., Project Planning & Feasibility) to organize work efficiently.

5. Monitor and Adjust

  • Use the Insights section to analyze OKR progress across projects and programs.

  • Adjust tasks and priorities as needed to stay on track with strategic goals.

Additional Notes

  • The Program Objective tag indicates that an objective is part of a broader program tracked in the Scorecard application, supporting cross-functional alignment.

  • Project OKRs are accessible in the MindStaq dashboard under the OKRs tab, providing a centralized view of strategic progress.
