How to use Filters and Status Columns

Proper use of Filters and Status Columns in My Tasks helps prioritize work, manage deadlines, and maintain up-to-date task records.

Filtering Tasks

  1. Open My Tasks:
    Navigate to the “My Tasks” section from the main menu.

  2. Apply Filters:
    Use filters at the top of the section:

    • Select time frame: Today, This Week, Overdue, Upcoming, etc

    • Toggle “Due This Week” to focus on immediate priorities

    • Use “Show All Overdue” to spot missed deadlines

    • Turn on “Show All Todos” to display subtasks with each task

  3. Refresh List:
    Click the Refresh button to display the latest task assignments and updates.

Managing with Status Columns

  • Not Started:
    Review and prioritize tasks that haven’t begun. Plan your week by moving these to active work

  • In Progress:
    Actively update subtasks, mark progress, and use the progress bar for each card

  • Completed:
    Regularly move finished work here to keep your workflow organized

Task Cards

  • Click on any card to access:

    • Detailed task info

    • Update due dates, statuses, or mark subtasks complete

    • Use the Edit icon for quick edits

Tips

  • Start each day by scanning Overdue and Not Started columns

  • Make checking progress part of your daily review to avoid bottlenecks
