How-to Use AI with Projects

The AI Help with Projects feature in MindStaq streamlines project planning by automatically generating structured lists of tasks and sub-tasks based on your project title. This tool is especially valuable for efficiently organizing large-scale Waterfall and Operational projects.

Note: AI Help with Projects is available only in Waterfall and Operational project types.

Accessing the AI Assistant

  1. Open Your Project

    • Navigate to your desired Waterfall or Operational project.

  2. Locate the AI Assistant Icon

    • Find the AI Assistant icon, positioned to the left of the Settings Gear icon in your project workspace.

  3. Open the AI Assistant

    • Click the AI Assistant icon.

    • The assistant window will appear, displaying your current project title in a non-editable field.

Using the AI Assistant

1. Review Project Title

  • Ensure the project title shown is correct, as the AI will use this to generate relevant tasks and sub-tasks.

2. Click Suggest Tasks

  • Select the Suggest Tasks button to proceed to the content generation screen.

3. Click Start

  • On the next screen, click the Start button to begin the content generation process.

  • A note below the button will remind you that you can review all suggestions before any tasks are created.

4. Review Task Suggestions

  • The AI Assistant will generate a structured list of tasks and sub-tasks tailored to your project.

  • Each task will include a brief description and related sub-tasks.

    Example Output:

    • Task: Migration Execution
      Carry out the actual migration of the banking system to the cloud.

      • Sub-task: Data Migration

      • Sub-task: System Testing

      • Sub-task: System Deployment

5. Create Suggested Tasks

  • After reviewing the AI-generated suggestions, click Create Suggested Tasks to add them to your project.

6. Cancel

  • If you decide not to use the suggestions, click the Cancel button to exit without creating any tasks.
