The Policies section allows workspace administrators to configure rules for project creation and file upload permissions. These settings help maintain governance around who can initiate projects and how securely teams manage their data.
Accessing the Policies Section
Log in to MindStaq Admin.
Navigate to the Policies tab in the Admin Dashboard.
1. Managing Project Activation Permissions
The Project Activation setting controls who within your workspace can create new projects. Without activation, users cannot create or assign tasks within projects.
Steps to Set Project Activation Policy:
In the Project Activation section, choose one of the following options:
All Members β Allow every user in the workspace to activate projects.
Only PMO Members β Restrict this ability to PMO members for tighter control.
Click Save to apply your chosen setting.
Only enabled users in accordance with this policy will be able to initiate and structure new projects within the workspace.
2. Configuring Security Policy for File Uploads
The Security Policy lets you control whether team members can upload files within issues and tasks, helping you manage data security and prevent unauthorized content sharing.
Steps to Enable or Disable File Uploads:
Find the setting labeled Allow file uploads in Issues and Tasks.
Check the box to enable file uploads or uncheck it to disable file attachments.
Click Save to confirm your changes.
When enabled, users can attach files (images, documents, links, etc.) while managing tasks and issues.
