Privacy, security, and data handling

What MindStaq says about security and compliance, and what you control about your own data.

Understand what MindStaq states about security, and which controls you have over your account and data.

What MindStaq states

  • MindStaq states on its sign-up page and public website that it is SOC 2 and GDPR compliant. This guide does not add detail beyond that statement. For reports or contract terms, contact support.
  • The public website lists zero data retention for the Enterprise plan. Availability for your workspace should be confirmed with support before you rely on it.

What you control

  • Your sign-in. Change your password under Profile, in Account & Settings (see Update your profile and switch workspaces). Use Log out at the bottom of the sidebar on shared devices.
  • Who sees your work. Data is scoped to the workspace you are in. See Understand workspace scoping and access.
  • Connected apps. Connect and disconnect apps yourself. Connector sign-in credentials are handled by a separate credential service, as stated on the Connectors tab. See Connect tools and apps.
  • Memories. The Memories tab in Account & Settings lets you manage what the AI remembers.
  • MCP keys. In MCP Tools you can revoke a key with Revoke key.

Tips

  • Do not paste passwords or secrets into chats.
  • Only attach files you are allowed to share with your workspace.

Troubleshooting

  • Need a compliance document or have a data request: contact support and say it is a compliance or data request.
  • You think your account is compromised: change your password, log out, and contact support.
