Create your first useful output
Turn a conversation into something you can keep, such as a note or a Word document.
AvailableLast reviewed 2026-10-05
Finish your first session with something saved, so the work does not stay buried in a conversation.
What you need
- A chat with an answer you want to keep. See Start your first work session.
Steps
- Ask for a finished piece. For example: "Draft a one-page project brief for ..." or "Summarise the options as a short memo."
- Save it as a note. Under the assistant's reply, choose Save as Note. Give the note a title in Note title, optionally choose a project or staq under Save to (optional), and choose Save as Note.
- Or export to Word. Ask the assistant to "export this as a Word document". A card appears with a Download button.
- Find it again. Open Library in the sidebar and look under Notes, or open the project or staq you chose.
Expected result
The button briefly reads Note saved!, and the note is listed in Library. A Word export shows a file card named after your document.
Tips
- Pick a project in Save to so teammates in that project can find the note.
- Ask the assistant to create tasks or a plan when you are working inside a project chat. See Turn an answer into a note, document, task, issue, or project plan.
Troubleshooting
- Save as Note shows an error. Try again. If it keeps failing, see Troubleshoot AI sessions.
- No download card appears. Ask again, using the words "Word document" or "export".
